Industrial users across the region are paying a premium for unreliable grid power and burning diesel to cover the gap. That is an economics problem before it is an environmental one, and it is solvable with equipment that exists today.
This division is launching soon. What follows is the scope it will cover, published now so the shape of it is clear, and it is not an offer to take on work yet. Enquiries are welcome and will be answered when the division opens.
Delivery will be through qualified technical and implementation partners where specialised capability is required, with the commercial structure able to put a customer on delivered energy rather than on capital equipment they then have to maintain.
Capabilities
Captive and embedded generation, industrial cluster supply, and the distribution network that carries it to the meter.
Ground-mount and rooftop solar with hybrid controls, sized against a metered load profile rather than a nameplate wish.
Storage that shifts solar into the evening peak, firms up unstable supply and removes the diesel set from the critical path.
Charging sites with the metering, payment and monitoring platform behind them, which is the part that decides whether a network works.
How we work
Four steps, run in this order on every engagement. Skipping the first is how the last one goes wrong.
We install logging before we design. Sizing from a nameplate rating rather than a measured profile is the most common way these projects fail.
A model with real tariffs, real degradation and real downtime. If the numbers do not work, we say so rather than adjusting the assumptions.
Delivered as EPC, or on a supply agreement where the asset stays on our balance sheet and you buy the energy. Which of the two is available depends on the project, and we say which at proposal stage.
Remote monitoring with performance reported against the model that won the work, including the months it underperforms.
